This course discusses smart home technology, best practices, and homeowner expectation and trends. Smart technology is becoming more in-demand by tech-savvy homeowners and buyers who want full system integration (audio, video, lighting, remote access, theatre systems and more) that is convenient and easy to use, so it is essential builders and renovators are well-versed in the available technology, wiring and rough-in requirements, as well as safety, security and licensing requirements of qualified trades people.
