Course Description

This course will start with an update on the status of wood prices and supply, and other issues in the flow of products to the market, then will turn its focus on exploring other construction methodologies available, from ICF to panelized wall systems, and advanced framing techniques to steel frame for residential construction, to help mitigate building costs and product availability.

A panel of speakers will provide different construction solutions to mitigate the high-cost of building with lumber, and use a “sweet sixteen” inspired wall assembly as a base to compare cost, construction/installation, product availability, performance and other  details across the different solutions. A great opportunity to learn more about building methodologies already available in our industry.
