WorkSafeBC will be discussing upcoming changes to First Aid regulations starting November 1, 2024. This webinar will cover key updates, including new requirements for risk assessments and developing first aid procedures.
- Workplace class factors-Definition of ‘remote’ and ‘less -accessible’ and the classes.
- Basic requirements that an employer must provide in the workplace.
- Written first aid assessments -the information needed and the frequency.
- Worker involvement in assessments-who is involved as applicable.
- Annual drills-frequency and reason for annual drill.
- First Aid equipment requirements
- First aid credential changes
