Course Description

This course will look at air distribution in the home, and consider the different types, benefits, application and use of fully dedicated and partially dedicated systems.

You will learn:

  • Indoor Air Quality
  • Different ventilation systems (simplified; partial; fully)
  • Contrasting thermal vs. ventilation needs of a household
  • Comparing systems: pros/cons, layouts, installation, customization
  • Energy consumption of each system
  • Considerations for selection systems for a residential project
